Due to recent events regarding COVID-19, we are unfortunately postponing the Alabama Dental Hygienists’ Annual Session which was scheduled for April 17-18, 2020 in Decatur, Alabama. Currently, the meeting has been rescheduled for August 14-15, 2020 at the same location. We realize that many of you may have made arrangements to attend which include hotel accommodations at DoubleTree Decatur Riverfront. If so, we encourage you to contact the hotel directly to make any changes or cancellations to your reservation as you deem necessary.
We are working closely with the speakers, vendors and dental representatives to continue with the same itinerary as initially scheduled. In an effort to make this transition as easy as possible, we will consider your registration active for August. Therefore, if you sent your registration information to Kim Williams previously for April, you are registered for August. If there is a conflict in which you cannot attend in August, please contact Kim for further information.
The registration process for the updated meeting scheduled for August 14-15 remains open at this time and will continue to be open through August, 2020. There is plenty of time to get your paperwork complete, course fees submitted, and hotel arrangements made so do not stress. Please remit your registration information to Kim Williams. Please refer to our website, ALADHA.org for any additional or updated information in the coming weeks.
The Alabama Dental Hygienists’ Association takes this effort to “flatten the curve” very seriously and encourage each of you to practice with great care using the knowledge and technology that we have as healthcare providers.
